The Tolkadian Queen: The Spark

So what happens when you take a super advanced high tech alien and place it on Earth? Most of the time they end up in the USA for some reason or another. This time though our alien landed right in the middle of Romania, in the capital of Bucharest.
Tall, beautiful, blue eyes, smart, nice curves, long hair, a real temptress, money, what else could you want from her? Lidia Denevire (as she calls herself on Earth) seems to have everything, but she is not a human! She actually is a member of the alien species called: Tolkadians. Her appearance as an earthling is only a result of her incredible body that can mimic other species up to a certain degree. However, you soon find out that her true form is actually that of a beautiful, tall (almost 10 feet tall), blue skinned, tentacle hair, long tail, alien.
So what does Lidia do here on Earth, especially in Romania? Well she’s investigating some strange alien activity. For this job she took up a perfect cover, up to the most boring detail, like faking to be an exchange student from the USA and actually going to school! What school you ask? Of all the things, a student at the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering!
Well things seemed good so far, but then they soon get a bit complicated for Lidia, especially after going on a group date with a couple of the master’s degree students. As a result she ends up with Alex in her bed and as if that was not enough, this man had to have the SPARK!
For the tolkadian the spark is the only way to identify their mate, lover, future husband/wife, the chosen one, whatever you want to call it!
An alien in disguise, a young master’s degree student that has no idea what he’s getting into, an alien conspiracy, a lot of shooting, a lot of questions, and more! As you will read through the story you will see that things aren’t how they seem and humans aren’t as alone as we initially thought they would be. One by one Alex will ask the questions and Lidia will need to answer them. The final questions though: Will Alex accept Lidia as she is? Will he learn to love her despite her being an alien? Will we end up stumbling on all the overused cliché up till now? (I honestly hope I managed to avoid most of the landmines there…) Well, you will need to read the book to find out!
What’s in store for the future of The Tolkadian Queen series?
The second book will focus more on Lidia’s true identity, her true form and a few more conspiracies. The relationship between Alex and Lidia will face their own turmoils as Alex adjusts to living with an alien, especially when things go to space, literally.
As for the whole series at the moment I am thinking of developing their relationship more and most of all how the two of them will be exploring space. They won’t always be stuck on Earth, but once they leave it a lot of alien wonders will be placed on display!
The bad of the book.
Ok, I stepped on this landmine, now time to explain it. I owe you guys at least this.
One of the main things you will notice about this book will be some grammar mistakes. I apologize for the grammar mistakes! Since English isn’t my primary language and I didn’t take advance English classes it was natural that I would step on this landmine… sigh. I will continue to improve on this part, that I promise. When I will have the money to give it to a professional proofreader or when I am confident in my own skill as a proofreader I will reedit it.
Oh? Why did I publish the book if I knew it still had grammar mistakes in it?
At the time for me it appeared to be proofread, however that was dependent on my current skill. I didn’t had the support or money to be able to proofread it professionally so I did what I could with the only hope in my heart that the story, even in that state, had to be shared and published out there (Indie publishing, but still…). Some would say that it was a bad move on my side, that I don’t respect my readers. However, that’s not true. If I didn’t publish it I would I’m happy and glad for every reader that I get! That’s why I’m trying my best and persevere to make things work better! Even without a proofreader, I’ll still publish! I must! I love writing! ^ ^
Leaving grammar aside, what about the content? What about the story?
Unfortunately I didn’t get much feedback on my story 😦 . I don’t know if you like it or not, if you think my writing style is boring or great. I will just clench my teeth and hope I made at least a few of you glad to have read the book! 🙂
On that note if you have some feedback you want to give me on this book I would appreciate it!
If you like my book or what I write, and you want to help me out then please share this page and blog! Give me a review on Amazon! Throw me a critique so I can see the flaws of my writing!Help me reach out to more people! Help me become a better writer!
I thank you dear reader for the effort of at least reading this post, because that makes me happy! ^ ^
