All Florans are natural hunters. They use their quick reflexes, sharp senses, and nimble bodies to track down their prey and then quickly capture it. Killing it is always a must, and very few can actually stop their murderous instincts. Feya tried once or twice, but she failed miserably, especially when she thought about how her tasty target would look like with some spice and maybe some sauce on top.
“Feya will hunt!” she declared as she pulled out her sword and pointed it at the sky.
With dawn breaking soon, it was only a matter of time before the forest was filled with all sorts of critters running around. Normally, one would have hoped to wait for the beasts to come out into the light and then hunt them down, but Feya was too hungry to wait.
The Floran dashed through the forest, jumping over small bushes, boulders, and fallen trees with the agility of feline. She breathed fast, taking in the scents of the world around her, while her eyes looked for the smallest of movements inside the forest.
There! she thought when she spotted something.
Stopping in her track, she lay sight upon a big fluffy pink creature. She smirked and pointed her sword at it. Although Feya had no idea how strong the beast could be, she dashed at it in the hope of taking it down fast.
“GYAAA!” the creature screamed, but it didn’t flee, on the contrary, it charged at Feya with full speed.
“You be foolish!” she said and jumped over it.
Before she landed on the ground, with a skilled strike, she stabbed the creature in the back, severing one of its three spines. It didn’t move for a moment, but that was all the Floran needed to stab it a few more times and thus rendering it motionless.
“HAHAHA! STAB STAB GOOD!” she screamed like a sadistic murderer.
The thrill of the hunt, the pleasure of the kill, the smell and taste of blood even if it was rather sweet almost like candy, all of those brought the Floran to a near euphoric state.
Feya needed a moment to recover, but once she did, she used her sword to cut off the creature’s meat.
“SAIL is this hunt good meat?” she asked the AI.
“You are already slicing, dicing, and filleting the meat, but put everything you find inside the Pocket Dimension, and I will scan it from here. If there are any products a Floran can’t eat, I’ll let you know. Although, I would be honestly surprised to find something besides plutonium that a Floran can’t eat.
“Feya never tried plutonium. Is it tasty?” she asked curiously.
“Yes, very. It’s radioactive material used as the ship’s fuel, remember?” said sarcastically the AI.
“Oh, you make bad joke! Never joke about food when Feya hungry!” she scorned.
After she was done with the meat, she walked around the area for a little bit and managed to find a few vegetables as well, some alien corn and grain. She stashed it all in her pocket dimension and then continued with her exploration of the planet, trying to find a good place to set up camp.
