Look mother, I’m nothing but an insect on your windshield!
Look father, I wore the chains you gifted me when I didn’t yield!
Now look, my love, I’m nowhere to be found…
I’m a blind fool searching for you. In fears I am bound.
I want you! I need you! I call out for your help!
But all I do is push you away, running from my soul’s debt.
I see you not as a treasure, as a friend, or helping stranger.
I see you as a goddess strapped in chains that never let you feel anger
You do not lie, you hold no fault, you are perfection by default!
But all of these are nothing but lies, insults spawned by an adult!
I hold you up, trapped in the skies…
When you are next to me, pointing at my lies.
You are no fantasy or dream I desire
You’re here with me, at my level, not higher.
Now I stand here and open my eyes…
You take off my glasses so I can see the lies
I choose to set myself free from them
And embrace you, my beautiful gem!
